Detoxing

Are you enjoying this beautiful Summer day?! Speaking of Summer, did you detox? As the seasons/weather changes it’s important that you cleanse yourself. Haven’t you noticed that when the season changes people get sick? Older people might call it “pneumonia weather.”

Lots of people don’t flush out all the toxins in their system which makes them sick. Detoxing when the seasons change develops immunity because you’re getting rid of all the build up. Detoxing your body is crucial for your well-being and curing of any health problems. As the world changes we need to change too being as though we are part of the universe. Doing this will help you get in tune with the seasons (nature).

Cleansing yourself renews the body and consciousness which rises your energy levels. It strengthens your system for brutal weather in the winter and fall, keeping you from catching the common cold or flu. My favorite way to cleanse myself is to go on a liquid fast for at least 7 days, drinking only water and tea. Once your fast is over it’s important to watch what you eat, the healthier your diet the less sicknesses you come across. I Hope I’ve been helpful, check back later for more health tips!

Benefits of Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is awesome, especially for your skin in my experiences! Apple cider vinegar seems to fade pimples and scars overnight! Apple cider vinegar disputes wrinkles, clears/restores the skin and removes toxins! If it seems like you can’t get rid of acne no mater what you use, try apple cider vinegar! It will lift all the dirt in your pores.

I have oily skin so I love to use apple cider vinegar as a toner. Apple cider vinegar alone can burn your skin so it’s important that you dilute it, making it half water and half apple cider vinegar. In my apple cider toning potion I love to add essential oils, one of my favorite oils I use is tea tree oil! Tea tree oil is good for combating acne. I usually have my apple cider toning potion in a spray bottle so that I can just spray it onto a cotton ball and rub my face before I go to bed.

Is that soap right for you?

Do you ever experience really dry, rough skin after getting out of the shower? The toxins in your soap could be the culprit! Some of the harmful ingredients found in soaps can affect your hormones, cause allergic reactions and dryness. Most soaps on the market eat away at your skin, strips your skin of its natural oils and ages you faster. Sometimes you can still experience dryness after putting tons of lotion on.

So if you aren’t already using Black Soap, next time you go to your local market pick some up! Black Soap treats acne, vanish dark spots, lightly cleanses the skin to prevent stripping you of your natural oils. If you want other than black soap be sure to read ingredients and be aware of harmful toxins that can irritate the skin, such as sodium lauryl which is usually found in detergents, parabens which affect your hormones and diethanolamine which can obstruct nutrients.
