GMO vs Organic

Most of us don’t think into the foods we put into our bodies on the regular basis. We wonder why we have simple but yet bothersome problems such as constipation, loss of remembrance or insomnia. On that note, lets go over what GMO stands for. GMO stands for genetically modified organisms, which means they are created through technology. It’s not natural at all, so why do we eat it?

GMO’s are unhealthy they can cause long standing health problems. It can even cause harm to your organs and cause you to be over weight. Not to mention GMO’s need a substantial sum of pesticides and herbicides which are poison. Doesn’t sound okay for our health nor the atmosphere! Because GMO’s aren’t natural they don’t really give us the nutrients we need.

With more information getting out there on GMO’s people try to get organic foods, which is hard because GMO seeds travel and cross breed. Cross breeding develops new poison and irritants. Eating foods that could potentially cause autism should not even be on the market. Even though organic foods are harder to find, try to eat as organic as possible (organic meaning natural food found in nature). Natural foods are alkaline which helps the body care for and cure itself.

Eating organic leads you to optimal health preventing many, many diseases, giving you a longer life! You’ll realize that you have more energy and a more steady sleep pattern while eating natural foods. It’ll definitely help you get more in tune with yourself. Eating healthier can help with small but yet bothersome problems like eczema, acne and even weight challenges! So what are you eating tonight? GMO or organic?

Did you know that your body has it’s own clock? A lot of us don’t know this, which takes our whole system off track. When this happens you might experience bloating, constipation and stomach cramps. So today I want to talk about the patterns of eating. I’m going to explain what you should be eating at the proper times of the day.

Like with a car, you can’t put just any kind of gas or oil in it and expect it to function correctly. The same goes for our bodies, we have to watch what we put in it! Any time before noon you’re suppose to eat fruits and drink alkaline water such as shungite water or water with key lime and or tea. Doing this, your body is able to cleanse itself of waste, creating an alkaline environment. Following this diet you should experience a bowel movement every morning.

Starting at noon until around 3 pm you should eat vegetables. The vegetables will refresh your cells so that your body gets the minerals and nutrients it needs. This will help boost your energy for the day, no coffee needed! From around 3 pm to 8 pm you should eat more solid foods such as nuts, grains and seeds as the day dies down. You shouldn’t really eat after 8 pm because melatonin starts to kick in preparing your body for sleep mode.

Being on this diet on this clock will help your body get on its original pattern, leading you to optimal health. Eating in this pattern is known as “The Laws of Eating in Rhythm” or “Eating Clean While in Rhythm”, there is a whole lot of info about it all over the internet. A healthy diet for healthy nails

Welcome back!

As you all have figured by now, a healthy diet is essential for your overall well being. But lets home in on the benefits a healthy diet gives to your nails, so they can be something close to how fabulous my beauties are. Because even though they don’t EVER admit it, men definitely appreciate a woman with her nails slayed! Nails are a good indicator to find if you’re healthy or not. You can tell this by the color and texture of the nail as well as the nail cuticle.

If you have dark lines or a yellow tint in your nails you may need to change your diet! Puffy cuticles or peeling of the nails are also a sign of poor dieting. Most people run to doctors, who will only give them medicine. But medication doesn’t cure the problem but only band aids the issue. Proper diet is the cure! Take care of your body and I promise you, your body will take care of itself!

For healthy, strong, long nails try to eat more foods that have vitamin B. Foods such as broccoli, spinach, almonds, pineapple, chick peas, coconut oil, ect. Healthy diet = Healthy skin

Hello!

Yesterday we talked about how water intake is important for healthy, beautiful skin. Tonight I wanna talk more about how your diet can affect the skin. Some people experience acne even after taking steps to clear it up; such as face washes, face masks  ect. Well, your diet could be the culprit! Processed foods, junk foods, food that have hydrogenated fats and food with high glycemic index are few examples.

After doing research, I have come to find that there are foods that promote healthy skin. Such as, carrots for glow, sunflower seeds to fight acne, kiwi for wrinkles, walnuts for dry skin and dark chocolate for rough skin. Not only is a healthy diet beneficial for the skin but as well as your overall health! So lets do this together! Go to your local super market a pick up some healthy food to benefit your skin.

Incorporate more veggies, nuts, seeds, grains and fish( sardines, salmon, tuna) in your diet. Even try to cut back on dairy as much as you can (if you’re really a milk lover try to substitute cows milk with almond milk and thank me later)!
