Rough to Soft

Hello Beauties, welcome back!

It’s getting warm outside which means, flip flop season! It’s time to get those toes done after hiding them all winter long and like every girl, if you get your feet done you gotta get your hands done too! But before you head over to the salon, lets talk about how many people go in and out of those salons … do they clean their tools before you sit in the chair? From my experiences, no. They sit you in the chair, give you minor cuts on your cuticles, wipe it off and move on to the next.

Gross, right? Well I have a solution for you! Why not just do your manicures/pedicures at home for free without the worry of someone cutting you or someone else’s body fluids?! Some salons are so bad that someone got chlamydia on their brows from double dipping in the wax! I don’t know about you, but that just doesn’t sit well with me. I refuse to get my nails done at a salon. If I do, I end up spending well over $100 just to get my nails done at a upscale salon because I know they clean all of their tools.

But who has that kind of money to spend twice month? Rich people of course and I’m not one of them, so I started doing my manicures and pedicures at home. My favorite part about doing my own pedicures/manicures is my homemade nail scrub! Made with just two simple, all natural ingredients such as sugar and olive oil. I use two tablespoons of sugar and one table spoon of olive oil, mix them together to get the consistency you see below.

It’s just amazing how something so simple can do so much. After rubbing my scrub on my nails, cuticles, hands and feet they feel amazingly soft! Not only does it make you feel incredibly soft it stops your nails from peeling and breaking. So lets go about our nail growth the right way, I hope I’ve been helpful.
